Camp Jeep 2004 Tubing and Directions

Those who are participating in the tubing event for Camp Jeep 2004 can download and print directions to James River Runners by clicking here! Remember that all participants MUST wear river shoes and be able to swim. You must also present your Camp Jeep pass to enter our parking area. NO alcoholic beverages are allowed on our property. Camp Jeep will be held in Virginia once again in 2004 on July 15, 16, and 17 at the Oak Ridge Estate just south of Lovingston. Interested parties should call 1- 800- JEEP for information. All participants MUST pre-register for the tubing run through Camp Jeep.

Our 3 mile river tube trip winds through beautiful rural countryside and has a nice set of novice rapids to end up the excursion here at Hatton Ferry. After a safety briefing and trip itinerary we bus your party upstream from our location to the put in spot. You then float back to James River Runners at your own speed subject to the whims and fancies of the river currents and wind patterns. This way you end back up where your car is parked and don't have to worry about a time schedule or a long, hot bus ride back to your vehicle. We do ask that all rental equipment be off river at 6PM. The trip generally will take 2 to 4 hours but may vary according to conditions and your activities while on river.
